Hey it's the first second Favorite Things Friday of the New Year! Okay, the first for me. Somehow I had more holiday type visiting in the first week of the New Year than I did during the holidays. In any case, FTF is a blast and it's terrific to be back at it! To join in the fun take a turn over to Quilting in My Pyjamas and play along.
So my favorite thing this Friday is.... (drum roll please)...my Woman Cave! I moved back in with my mom while I do some job hunting in Wichita and she gave me the rather large, unfinished basement room for sewing stuff:

Perfect! I love it. This is where I spend most of my time. After all, it has all of my favorite things!

ReplyDeleteI think a dedicated girly cave is practically essential to a half decent life. Good on you for making this space work for you. (Mr. P sometimes pops his head into my sewing room but it's definitely MY piece of paradise.

Love your woman cave! We all need one, don't we. Nice to see where you are spending your time. My 'cave' is the dining table, which I just loooove, because it is huge! :)

What a fantastic place! My "cave" is shared with my office as well (or is it the other way around?). But I agree, we all need a place of our own. Yours is idyllic.

ReplyDeleteYour cousin-in-law is a dork. It does not look gay. It looks seriously awesome. Everything is neat and tidy. It must be really great to have your own space.
ReplyDeleteI had a friend who set up a little studio in her unfinished basement. She bought some pretty sheets at goodwill to hang on the walls to give the place a creative touch.
